Welcome to New Women Space.
A 2,100 sq. ft. community-led event space in Brooklyn, New York, where 100% of our programming is led by self-identified women, poc, femme, queer, transgender and gender nonconforming individuals.
We envision a world where all people -- regardless of their Color, Culture, gender identity, expression or presentation -- are affirmed with dignity, respect and are given abundant access to the resources and opportunities they need to prosper and thrive. We envision this world to be free of the rigidity of white supremacist, heteronormative, capitalist, patriarchal systems of oppression and work to dismantle these structures through the resilient creation and proliferation of community spaces owned and operated by the people most directly impacted.
Our mission at New Women Space is to create a vibrant and affirming community by inviting self-identified women, poc, femme, queer, transgender and gender nonconforming individuals to lead powerful in-person gatherings and start new, timely and critical conversations in an intentional space centered on personal and societal transformation.
